Yacht Charter Season in Mallorca
Similar to most popular destinations in the Mediterranean, Mallorca receives the most visitors during the hot summer months. To have a better chance to secure a spot and fewer people around, late spring between April and May is also a great window for chartering a yacht.
What does yacht charter mean?
Yacht charter and boat rental are synonyms of one another. Most yacht charters start on Saturday and are usually rented for 6 nights/7 days. Therefore, most of the prices on this website are weekly. It is possible to arrange a shorter or a longer charter or start on a different day.

Palma - the South
Palma is known as the capital of Mallorcan tourism, and it’s easy to see why. It has a rich history and is surrounded by beautiful beaches, as well as great nightlife and shopping. The Old Town is gorgeous, and there are plenty of activities for both adults and children.
The south part of the island is where you’ll find a lot of the famous cliff-jumping spots like Cabo Blanco and Es Trenc.
PORTOCOLOM & PORTO CRISTO
These natural harbors are located on the eastern coast of the island and offer a safe and protective spot that has been slowly but steadily rising in popularity. If you prefer more laid-back rather than party, and secluded coves to famous attractions, then a journey up (or down) the eastern coast is a must for your next itinerary.
This is an excellent choice for families and offers a deeper insight into the true Mallorcan lifestyle.
Located on the northern coast of Mallorca, this area is popular with partygoers and watersports enthusiasts alike. The consistent winds blow across the waters and make it an ideal location for kitesurfing and windsurfing. If you are looking for powdery white beaches, then the area will not disappoint.
Further up the northern coast and not far away from Alcudia, the port of Formentor and the surrounding area is another spot that deserves a spot on the list.
The winds have earned this spot the nickname “meeting point of the winds,” and you’ll see why once you get there. The cliffs have long been a massive attraction, and with good reason: they’re incredible. This is a great destination for both beginners and experienced sailors alike.
Port de Sóller
Port de Sóller is a peaceful area known for its massive olive harvest and beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Separated from the rest of the island by the Tramuntana mountain range, which contributed to its secluded charm, it has retained its charm and association with the past. Don’t skip a ride on the historic wooden tram that winds through the town!
Just a short boat ride away from Palma, the charming Port d’Andratx is one of the most picturesque spots you can choose to spend your time in. There are plenty of nice cliffs to watch the sunset from or practice your cliff jumping. The local beaches tend to be densely occupied so visiting from your yacht is always a better option.
