Launched in September 2020, luxurious Sunreef 60 sailing catamaran CALMA offers 225 m² of living space to enjoy life on board.
CALMA’s layout features five exclusive double ensuite cabins for ten guests, a stylish saloon with cosy lounging and dining areas, and a functional galley up, giving the chance to watch a professional chef in action.
Thanks to the sliding saloon door the interior blends naturally with the outside, opening onto the large, sheltered aft deck and the splendid front terrace. The spacious flybridge features a BBQ, a wet bar and plenty of seating for enjoying the beautiful panoramic views.
Operated by an experienced crew of 3, this grey-hulled beauty is available in the Caribbean in winter and in the Balearics in summer.
Offered by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht CALMA is a 60 ft sailing catamaran. The promiment features of CALMA are her elegant profile and alfresco dining areas. CALMA spends the season in Mallorca. She was constructed by the renowned boatbuilder Sunreef Yachts in 2020. The expansive yacht layout features 5 cozy cabins and easily accommodates a group of 10 guests.
CALMA is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The fascinating cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.

Charter fee is all inclusive except special requests (fine wines, champagne, specific alcoholic drinks, excessive alcohol consumption), local cruising taxes and permits, guest antigen/PCR tests if any, air fares, transfer airport/yacht/airport, dockage fees if any, use of communications means available on board and crew gratuity.
For the all-inclusive charters a small APA of 5% is recommended to cover the additional expenses such as fine wines, champagne, specific alcoholic drinks, excessive alcohol consumption, air fares, transfer airport/yacht/airport, dockage fees if any and use of communications means available on board. Fuel included for 4 hours on engine daily, if more is needed it is to be charged from small APA.
Clearance fees are included in the Charter Fee, however agent fees shall be shared equally between the Charterer and Owner. Should the agreed charter itinerary require the crew to take additional antigen/CPR tests during the charter, the cost of tests shall be covered by the Charterer.

Captivated by the sea, Charly started sailing at a very young age. Following his dreams, he obtained a degree in Nautical Science and Maritime Transport. Over the past five years he took part in sailing races and worked on a variety of charter yachts, including Sunreef Yachts catamarans, learning a great deal about yacht maintenance and working his way through to eventually become the captain of CALMA.
Charlie has a thorough understanding of life at the sea and has got a great sailing portfolio including Transatlantic crossings as well as extensive sailing in different parts of the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. His hobbies include kitesurfing and other water sports, travelling, design, motorbike restoration, drone filming and photography. Competent, friendly and enthusiastic, he is happy to share all his varied knowledge with guests, which makes every charter trip unique, fun and interesting.
Chef: Rodrigo Orozco
Rodrigo’s fascination for food and gastronomy started at a very early age learning the art of home-made pasta with his Argentinian “Nono”.
His determination to become a professional Chef grew quickly and surely and he became a graduate in Culinary arts and Gastronomic Sciences at the prestigious Basque Culinary Center. While studying he worked as an apprentice in many European Michelin Star restaurants such as Els Cassals, Clou and Kokotxa, where he acquired fine dining standards and continued to develop outstanding and solid culinary skills.
After years of intense training in the restaurant industry, Rodrigo’s passion took a turn into gastronomic research and innovation. He worked in the Gastronomic Engineering Department of the UCC University (Chile) alongside chefs and scientists developing new culinary techniques and flavors and exploring the undervalued culinary landscape of South America.
Nowadays he uses all his knowledge and experience to delight the most gourmet palates of Calma yacht’s guests by elaborating creative, succulent, and highly personalized menus.
Stewardess: Trinidad Fernandez
English teacher by education, but keen on cooking and sea, Trini found her perfect career match when she obtained a stew position on board a luxury yacht. Passionate about what the sea offers her, Trini is a good swimmer, surfer and paddle yoga instructor. Right there and then she realized that her heart desire was in sharing her sailing experiences with others to create memorable vacation adventures.
With an impeccable eye for detail, she is attentive to guests’ needs and always stays focused on the best possible service on board CALMA.
