What happens if weather affects our Mallorca charter?

Summer weather in the Balearics is about as reliable as the Mediterranean gets: no hurricane season, long settled spells, and a predictable afternoon sea breeze. Weather rarely takes a day from a Mallorca charter; it just decides which coast you enjoy it on.

When the wind does blow, it is the captain’s call, and that authority is written into every charter contract for good reason: on questions of safety the captain’s decision is final. In practice it means swapping to the sheltered side of the island, choosing a calmer cala, or resequencing the route, and Mallorca’s coastline offers protected options in almost any wind direction.

For protecting the charter fee itself against cancellation, that is an insurance question rather than a contract one; see should I buy cancellation insurance?
