The harbor is deep, long, and sheltered in nearly all conditions, which makes it the island’s one truly reliable overnight stop. Summer weekends get busy, but rarely Ibiza-level frantic, and berths are far easier to arrange. What’s around the port
The old town sits directly above the quay: the market, the gin distillery, and the evening paseo. Illa del Rei, the small hospital island mid-harbor, makes a curious tender stop. Outside the entrance, the southern calas begin, and Cala Macarella and Cala Mitjana, the turquoise bays from the postcards, are within a day’s cruise.
