Club de Mar

Club de Mar is the most sophisticated and popular of the anchorages in Palma de Mallorca. Founded in 1972, the club is also one of the largest among the eight that we have featured here and also among all the Spanish marinas. The anchorage of Club de Mar has over 600 yachting berths ranging in size from eight meters to 120 meters. If you are in a large vessel or superyacht, consider stationing at Club de Mar.

The Club de Mar anchorage is divided into two sections. When booking a birth, make sure you note down the section that you have booked.

Mooring at Club de Mar

Enter southbound in the port of Palma to find Club de Mar. The anchoring suggestion is about ten meters and you have to mandatorily park at a berth. It’s heavily administered, so you are better off pre-booking a berth, which will be easier if you book a few months before your arrival. The marina is safe to anchor at during all seasons. The fuel dock is open around the year between 0900 and 2000 daily.

Note – You may face some bias while booking a berth at Club de Mar as superyachts and bigger boats are given higher priority.

Provisioning and Services

Excellent and abundant facilities at Club de Mar make it suitable for a provisioning stop. It’s a busy marina, so make sure you have a ready list of items to get/collect to avoid any delays or confusion while anchored. You may also order provisions through El Corte Ingles and have them delivered at the marina in your boat for a fee. As you can guess, the marina is expensive, so the facilities will match that in price.
