Read MoreMoll Vell is an anchorage in Palma de Mallorca.
Palma de Mallorca is a charter location in Mallorca – South, a yacht charter area in Mallorca.
The anchorages on Palma de Mallorca:
Moll Vell
Managed by Amarres Deportivos, Moll Vell is the last of the eight anchorages in the port of Palma. Started in 2014, today it has about 27 berths that can accommodate larger yachts of the size 20 to 40 meters. If you have a smaller boat, it can be accommodated in one of the two smaller 15-meter berths.
Marina Moll Vell is perhaps best known for its annual boat show competition. However, it has not been organized since at least 2016. Today, Moll Vell has turned into a cozy little marina frequented by honeymooners and those who relish privacy and less hustle-bustle.
Mooring at Moll Vell
Moll Well is the safest marina in the Palma port as it is covered by pontoons or roadways all around. The effect of eastern winds is negligible, and you can safely anchor your yacht.
You can request a mooring on the official website here.
Provisioning and Services
Moll Vell has all the usual yacht provisioning such as water, recycling point, electricity, Wi-Fi, parking, security controls, and more. There are also shower booths and toilets for a quick freshening-up. Markets and shops are nearby, with a few more miles inward giving you some sightseeing spots.
Moll Vell is best known for its fine dining experiences nearby. There is Chiliss No 3 and Mar de Nudos, two classic fine-dine experiments near the marina that are bound to add to your holiday memories when you are back home. If the former boasts of seafood specialties, the latter offers a stunning view as you munch on your favorite crustacean delicacies.
